My Reading Coach

My Reading Coach is a phonics-based reading program that teaches struggling students, and even those diagnosed with dyslexia, to read. It is the only reading program that provides a virtual reading specialist and speech pathologist for every learner. Embedded Teacher Intelligence individualizes phonics, grammar and reading comprehension instruction to help every learner reach his or her full potential. 

Each student gets a unique reading diagnosis. Struggling readers receive direct one-on-one lesson instruction with targeted feedback from reading and speech specialists. The interactive setting helps Special Education students to stay focused.

My Reading Coach is consistent with the Orton-Gillingham approach and teaches students to read text to maximize comprehension and improve fluency.  With My Reading Coach, struggling readers and dyslexic students of all ages are empowered to become fluent readers. With My Reading Coach struggling readers quickly learn to decode words, improve reading comprehension, and reading fluency.

RAPS 360 (Reading Analysis and Prescription System) is a diagnostic assessment system with embedded progress monitoring. Diagnostic assessments provide teachers with information about a student's prior knowledge or gaps in their reading skills. It helps teachers quickly diagnose why a student is not reading or comprehending grade level passages.

Periodic formative assessments tell teachers how well students are meeting learning goals. They enable teachers to assign appropriate interventions to fill in skill gaps.

FLRT allows students to practice fluent reading and reading comprehension.  Fluency is the ability to read text quickly, accurately and with good comprehension.  This system trains students to process words from left to right efficiently. Students quickly move from word recognition to reading comprehension to reading fluency.
